Day 01 :

Arrival in Casablanca:

Upon arrival at Casablanca airport, port, or pick-up from your hotel, explore the Hassan II Mosque, a significant landmark. Enjoy lunch, visit the city, and admire the beautiful Corniche. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 02 :

Casablanca to Rabat, the Capital – Assilah

Depart for Rabat, one of Morocco's imperial cities and its contemporary capital. Explore the Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Kasbah of the Oudayas. Free time for lunch. Continue to Assilah, known as "the magnificent coastal city," for your hotel overnight

Day 03 :

Assilah to Tangier – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, drive along the coast from Assilah to Tangier, "the Bride of the North." Visit Tangier city, the Caves of Hercules, and Cap Spartel. After lunch, head to Chefchaouen, passing through Tetouan and enjoying the Rif Mountains' scenery. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 04 :

Discovery of Chefchaouen, the Blue City:

After breakfast, explore Chefchaouen, the blue city of Morocco, nestled in the Rif region. Wander through the old medina with its blue doors and whitewashed courtyards. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, hike to the Spanish Mosque for panoramic views of the blue city. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 05 :

Chefchaouen to Roman Ruins of Volubilis – Meknes – Fes:

After breakfast and a stroll in Chefchaouen, visit the well-preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis (UNESCO). Explore Meknes, the Ismaili capital, including Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani basin, royal stables, granary, and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Continue to Fes for an overnight stay, possibly in a traditional Moroccan Riad.

Day 06 :

Guided Tour of Fes:

Dedicate the day to exploring Fes with a certified local guide. Visit the Royal Palace gate, the UNESCO-listed medieval medina (Fes el-Bali), Bab Boujloud (the blue gate), Bouanania Medersa, Najjarine fountains, tanneries, and Quaraouiyine Mosque and University.

Explore the Jewish quarter (Mellah) and an old castle for a panoramic view of Fes. Return to the Riad.

Day 07 :

Fes to Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Sahara:

After breakfast, head south through Ifrane ("Moroccan Switzerland"). Continue through the cedar forest, home to Barbary macaques (feeding them is allowed, but no shooting). Lunch in Midelt.

Journey to Merzouga via the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and Ziz Valley, with scenic stops. In Merzouga, swap to camels for a trek across the dunes, admire the sunset from a high dune, and enjoy a Berber evening with music and dance under the stars in a luxury desert camp (dinner and overnight included).

Day 08 :

Exploration of the Merzouga Region: Nomads – Khamlia (Gnaoua Village) – Merzouga Lake – Erg Chebbi – Palmeraie

Wake early for the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel where your driver awaits. Explore the Merzouga region by 4x4, visiting an old kohl mine, meeting nomads in their hand-woven tents for Berber tea, and enjoying Gnaoua music and dance in Khamlia village.

Lunch at a local restaurant before a stroll through a palm grove and a visit to the beautiful Merzouga Lake (Flamingo Lake). Return to Merzouga for dinner and hotel overnight.

Day 09 :

Merzouga Sahara to Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley:

After breakfast, depart the desert for Rissani, the former capital of Tafilalet (visit the souk if it's Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday). Visit a fossilized marble workshop in Erfoud. Continue through Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves to the impressive Todra Gorges, where you can walk and admire the red cliffs.

Lunch might be available at a restaurant. Proceed to the Dades Valley, stopping to see the "monkey fingers" rock formations. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in the valley.

Day 10 :

Dades Valley to Rose Valley – Skoura Palmeraies – Ouarzazate Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – High Atlas – Marrakech:

At dawn, depart towards Kalaa M’Gouna, traversing the Valley of Roses (rose festival in May). After the Skoura palm groves, arrive in Ouarzazate to visit film studios.

Continue to the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village featured in many films and series. Lunch. Head to Marrakech, crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka pass and the majestic High Atlas Mountains, with photo stops. Overnight in a traditional Riad in Marrakech.

Day 11 :

Guided Tour of Marrakech:

After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Marrakech, "the Red City." Visit the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and Ben Youssef Mosque. Explore the largest traditional market in Morocco.

Lunch near Jemaa El-Fna square. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque and Majorelle Garden. You can return to your Riad or explore Jemaa El-Fna independently

Day 12 :

Marrakech to Essaouira:

After breakfast, head west to Essaouira. Stop en route to observe argan trees and goats. Arrive in Essaouira (Mogador), a major coastal city. Explore the fishing port, historic cannons along the ramparts, and the old medina. Overnight in a hotel in Essaouira.

Day 13 :

Essaouira to Marrakech:

After breakfast, depart Essaouira to return to Marrakech, with opportunities for photos and interesting stops. Enjoy a peaceful stroll in Jemaa El-Fna square. Overnight in a luxurious Riad.

Day 14 :

Marrakech Airport:

Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Marrakech airport to conclude your 14-day Morocco itinerary that began in Casablanca. End of tour.
